Every experience is tailored around you, with personalised guidance from our experienced team.
HUNTING
We offer a diverse selection of plains game and dangerous game across riverine areas, open plains and rolling hills, giving each hunt its own character and challenge. Hunting is conducted primarily through walk-and-stalk and spot-and-stalk methods, always under strict fair-chase and ethical standards.
Every hunt is carefully planned around the species, terrain and conditions of the day, with experienced Professional Hunters guiding each step of the process. The focus is not only on the pursuit itself, but on creating a respectful, rewarding and memorable experience in the field.
FISHING
Guided fishing excursions offer a relaxed change of pace and a chance to enjoy time on the water in a completely different way. Guests can target species such as Yellowfish, Catfish, Carp and Mudfish, with each outing shaped around the conditions, the location and the experience level of the group.
Whether you are an experienced angler or simply looking to spend a peaceful day outdoors, fishing at Bateleur offers a rewarding and unhurried experience. It is the perfect opportunity to slow down, take in the surroundings and enjoy another side of the Northern Cape.
WINGSHOOTING
Walked-up bird hunting is available at Bateleur, with seasonal opportunities for geese, guinea fowl and pheasant. Each outing offers a different experience in the field, shaped by the terrain, the conditions and the movement of the birds.
Wingshooting is guided with the same focus on safety, respect and ethical practice that defines every Bateleur experience. Whether you are an experienced wingshooter or trying it for the first time, the aim is to create a challenging, enjoyable and memorable day in the field.
